The Philosophy

Hunter Kitty Power is the practice of presence—the art of inhabiting your life instead of constantly evaluating it.

Most of us spend a surprising amount of our lives somewhere other than where we are. We replay what happened yesterday, anticipate what might happen tomorrow, wonder what others think of us, and evaluate whether we are doing life correctly.

Hunter does none of this.

When he sleeps, he sleeps. When he wants affection, he asks for it. When sunlight appears across the floor, he finds it. When the moment is over, he moves on.

Hunter Kitty Power begins with a simple idea: your life is not something you have to constantly interpret in order to inhabit it. Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is simply be where you are.

Presence Before Performance

Be where you are.
Rest when you are tired.

Ask for what you need.
Clearly and without apology.

Notice what feels good.
A patch of sunlight. A soft blanket. Someone you love.

Let the moment end.
You don't have to carry every experience into the next one.

Begin again.
The next moment doesn't require the permission of the last.

The Practice

You don’t have to master your life.

You only have to inhabit it.
